Q&A with Director of Account Services, Lisa Hannigan.

In this month’s employee spotlight we had the pleasure of sitting down with Lisa Hannigan, Director of Account Services, to get to know more about her and her role at Elevation.

What do you do in your role at Elevation?

As the Director of Account Service, I’m ultimately responsible for ensuring that we have a dedicated, high-performing team able to meet the marketing needs of our clients. It’s my job to set the team up for success and make sure we’re delivering at the highest levels of client satisfaction.

Tell us about a typical day in the life of Lisa.

Hmmm…let’s see…there is no typical one here per se, but over the course of a day, I’m involved in wide range of activities including account planning and onboarding, training, one-one-one meetings with my team members,  collaborating with our cross-functional teams, and building/sustaining great client relationships. I’m pretty passionate about what I do and strive every day to bring a high-level of strategic and consultative thought to the solutions we develop for our clients. 

How did you choose this career path?

I guess I knew in college that I wanted to pursue a career in Advertising, and in one way or another I’ve been lucky enough to follow that course throughout my career.

What does true leadership mean to you?

For me, it means helping people develop to their full potential. By identifying and leveraging their natural talents/strengths, while at the same time working to shore up weaknesses, you cultivate positive self-esteem, confidence and productivity and, hopefully a desire to continually learn and develop new skills.

What do you consider a fulfilling workday?

Two things contribute to a fulfilling day for me. The first is when a member of my team has been able to achieve a desired goal or outcome for themselves professionally or for a client, and the second is when a client expresses delight in the way the team delivered on a strategy or solution.

What do you think makes Elevation stand out as a trailblazer in the marketing industry? 

It’s due to our exceptional team, of course!! We invest the time upfront in really listening to and gaining insight into the goals our clients are striving to achieve; actively understanding the challenges they face, the market they’re in and the expectations they have of us. We apply best practices as they pertain to the B2B space, and then set about to not only meet, but exceed those expectations to the best of our ability.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I really love spending time with my family – it’s one of the big reasons why I moved out here to Phoenix. When not busy with them (including my high-maintenance teenager) I can be found hanging out with a good friend, writing poetry or taking long drives with an awesome music mix!
